Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong announced on Monday that the English edition of Ragnarok Odyssey for the PlayStation Vita will be released this summer.
Ragnarok Odyssey is based on popular MMORPG Ragnarok Online and is developed by Game Arts, who also developed the Grandia and Lunar RPG game series.
Sony said in “gratitude to support from Asian players”, the English edition will contain the expansion packs “Expansion 1: Online Multiplay Update”, “Expansion 2: Sograt Desert Update” and even “Expansion 3: Epic Weapons Update”, which is set to launch in Japan on 21 June.
In Ragnarok Odyssey, players will start out as an amateur mercenary fighting against mighty giants and monsters in order to preserve peace in the human world. Players can choose from six different professions, such as sword warrior, assassin or cleric.
