SINGAPORE – Team TitaNs overpowered arch-rivals RageFaction 16 to 4 in the climatic showdown between the two teams at the finals of the World Cyber Games 2007 Singapore Championship.
TitaNs took the first half on de_train as the Terrorist side 11 to 4. Building on their momentum, TitaNs blew RageFaction away in the second half by a margin of 5 to 0, completely denying their opponents any advantage or foot hold and taking the championship.
Despite not being played and broadcast live on stage, both teams enjoyed the support of a solid and animated crowd. More than 50 spectators crowded around the barricades behind the two teams, cheering and egging on the teams at every kill earned and round gained.
This will be Team TitaNs’ first WCG Singapore National Finals title since 2005. TitaNs will be flying to Seattle, USA where they will participate in the international WCG Grand Finals.
