Halo live action short unveiled

The Discovery Channel has unveiled a Halo 3 live action short film depicting UNSC forces engaged in a battle with the enemy Covenant forces.

In the[ url=http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/last-one-standing/halo-sweeps/halo-sweeps.html]short film[/url], UNSC marines are attempting to get a lock on the Master Chief’s (protagaonist of the Halo series) re-entry pod in order to record his landing coordinates, while Brutes under the command of the Covenant try to prevent them from succeeding.

The battle is portrayed entirely in live-action, with realistic representations of outfits, weapons and vehicles, giving us a taste of what a planned [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halo_(film)]Halo movie[/url] could turn out to be.
