Montfort Sec emerges IEGC overall school champion

After a week of competition, Montfort Secondary School emerged as the Overall School Champion as its students placed among top three in almost every game title and category at the 2008 Funan Interschool E-Gaming Challege.

Students from Montfort were especially strong in console titles, placing first in Gears of War (Open Category), first and second in the Gears of War (Student and Teacher) and second in FIFA 08. Montfort’s DotA team also managed a third placing.

For emerging as the overall school champion, Montfort Secondary School received the IEGC Challenge Trophy, a special day visit to the Microsoft Office, an Xbox 360 console, $500 in CapitaVouchers and other prizes.
