The Malaysia Team Fortress 2 Ladder (MYTF2L) has opened its doors to teams looking to play in its first ever TF2 6v6 ladder.
Details on MYTF2L is scant at the moment, with no indication of when it will kick off or how many teams it is looking to attract.
Interestingly, the rules does not make any mention of whether criticals will be turned off. While crits add an element of unpredictability and fun to pub play, it is generally frowned upon by the scrim match community as random, uncontrolled crits tend to diminish the tactical and skill-based aspects of the game.
Teams based outside of Malaysia should also be aware that only game servers located in Southeast Asia are allowed to be used for matches, although the rules also recommend that all players should have a “playable ping” for matches.
MYTF2L is sponsored by BolehVPN, a Malaysian internet and game server provider.
