Team TitaNs, representing Singapore in Counter-Strike 1.6 for the Electronic Sports World Cup Asia Masters of Cheonan, will have to face Danish team mTw and Taiwanese team ULTIMAX (UMX) in the group stages, along with an as-yet unnamed South Korean team.
Despite being put in the same group with mTw, one of the world’s top teams, Team TitaNs definitely have it easy compared to those in the Group C “group of death” which includes top European and Swedish teams Fnatic and SK-Gaming, Polish team Wicked, previously signed with MYM, and top Australian team Immunity.
According to the Team TitaNs blog, the team is aiming to come out second in their group. If they manage to overcome UMX and the unknown Korean team, they stand a good chance to proceed to the playoffs.
