The Sims 3 now open for pre-order

The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition will only be available to those who pre-order at retailers nationwide before the game’s official launch in Singapore on 2 June.

Those who have bought the S$74.90 pre-order cards will be able to redeem the game one day before retail release at ILUMA at Bugis where the game’s launch party will be held from 2pm to 7pm.

The Collector’s Edition comes with exclusive bonus merchandise and content, including a Prima Sims 3 tips and hints guide, a European Sports Car in-game downloadable content, US$10 worth of Sims points for new online Sims 3 Store and a USB thumbdrive in the shape of a Plumbob. In addition, the first 600 to redeem their games at the game’s launch party will receive an exclusive Sims 3 t-shirt.

The Sims 3 introduces new features such more customization options for your Sims, including giving them personalities, and an open, seamless neighborhood where you will be able to follow and control your Sim outside of their home out of the box, instead of in expansion packs as was in the case in The Sims 2.

For those who do not intend to pre-order The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition or wish to get the standard edition, they will only be able to get the game on 3 June when it is available on store shelves.

More details are available on EA Singapore’s Sims 3 website.
