The latest weapon in the Left 4 Dead 2 arsenal to be unveiled comes in the form of a wicked cricket bat, possibly in homage to the cult zombie flick Shaun of the Dead.
In Shaun of the Dead, a 2004 British romantic zombie comedy, the protagonist, Shaun, uses a cricket bat to smash some zombie heads while trapped in a bar with a horde of undead.

The bat joins Valve’s growing assortment of melee weapons for the sequel, including a chainsaw, frying pan and fire axe.
