We’re going back to our competitive gaming roots

When I started GameSync back in 2005, it was to provide fast and accurate news about the competitive gaming scene in Singapore. It was also to keep a record of history, so that newcomers and old faces alike could one day point back to a piece of news on GameSync and proudly say “Yes, I was a champion then” or “Yes, I did all these years ago”.

It would be an understatement to say that I’ve strayed far from this ideal with GameSync. But no more.

If you’re interested in reading news about the latest MMO or reviews on the latest Xbox360/PS3/iPhone game, GameSync is no longer the place for that. I’ve started No Game No Talk for all that.

From now on, GameSync will go back to our competitive gaming roots and focus on delivering the latest and greatest news, interviews and analysis from your favourite game communities. We’ll bring you insights from the pros about what makes them pros, and the things they do to keep themselves at the top.

With StarCraft II and the World Cyber Games coming soon, there’s no better time to refocus on what made GameSync a truly great read in the past.

It won’t happen overnight, but I hope you’ll continue to lend your support to our team at GameSync and keep on reading.

Good to see Gamesync back to its roots. Sounds tough to find any latest news about Singapore's competitive scene. I'm from Malaysia and looking for any source of news to be included in Spotgamers. Maybe we can work together to share the latest news :)Keep it up! :)

Thanks for the support! Will you be coming to AC this year? Let's get in touch then. :)

the plans are there. we are planning to go again this year. we have been there last year actually, during our blogspot time. If we confirmed our trip, we let u know then :)

  • Wei-Meng

Yeah, I actually recognize you from your photo! I saw you at one of the Microsoft Xbox events too.I've added you on Twitter, do let me know when you've confirmed your trip!

Noted with the add, Wei Meng. But I don't think I am at the one of the Microsoft Xbox events since AC last year is my only trip to Singapore.I'm always looking forward to trip to Singapore. Last year's experience was awesome, minus the miscomm between Malaysian gaming media with Dell about their media event. The rest was simply stunning :)
