Game server provider Fragnetics will be organizing an online Battlefield: Bad Company 2 competition tentatively slated for the end of June or the beginning of July. According to the forum announcement by Fragnetics Administrator Lennard Seah, the tournament will be sponsored by Electronic Arts Asia Pacific.
Only players from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India and the Philippines are allowed to join the tournament, which will feature 8v8 Conquest mode for competitive players and 4v4v4v4 Squad Deathmatch for casual players.
While the tournament format has not yet been decided, the forum post does write that “[Fragnetics knows] you have hate single eliminations”, suggesting that double elimination will be a possibility.
