Thousands of people lined up at Funan DigitaLife Mall to get their hands on the Xbox 360-exclusive Halo: Reach at the game’s launch event held on Tuesday afternoon.
About 10,000 people attended the Halo: Reach launch, where all three editions of the game — Standard, Limited and Legendary — were on sale.
Pre-orders for Halo: Reach hit 6,000 units going into the launch on Tuesday, more than the pre-order sales for both Halo 2 (1,000 units) and Halo 3 (3,000 units) combined.
Student Justin Lau, 16, having queued for 18 hours beginning 6pm on Monday night, was the first in Singapore to get his hands on Halo: Reach.
Justin had pre-ordered one copy of the Legendary Edition and Limited Edition each. For being the first in line, he was given the limited-edition Halo: Reach 250GB Xbox 360 S bundle as well as an additional Halo: Reach controller.
