Revenant eliminates iceiceice in SC2 MSS Cup #1

Marcus “Revenant” Tan eliminated Daryl “iceiceice” Koh in the quarter-finals of the inaugural Mothership Studios Cup StarCraft II online tournament, bringing him one step closer to the $300 prize pool.

Revenant’s Zerg side took out iceiceice – who usually plays Zerg but decided to play Protoss, his off-race, for this tournament – with a 2-1 final match score.

Tweets from Revenant’s team, Flash eSports, revealed that Revenant had taken the first game, lost the second to iceiceice’s one-base Blink Stalkers and subsequently won the tie-breaker match to take the game in hand.

Revenant will now face aLtiaguz in the semi-finals.
