Nanyang Polytechnic StarCraft II LAN tournament slated this Saturday

StarCraft II tournament

Since we know all you readers have nothing planned for this weekend, come on down to Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Information Technology this Saturday afternoon, where a StarCraft II tournament will be held.

The tournament, organised by the SIT Club, is held in conjunction with Nanyang Polytechnic’s annual Open House and will begin after 12 noon. Participants stand to win a Razer Spectre Mouse (official StarCraft II swag!), a $50 Capital Mall voucher, or a 2GB thumbdrive. The tournament will be played in a best-of-three double elimination format, so everyone is guaranteed to play at least four games just by joining.

To register, indicate either your Battle.Net ID or your StarCraft II character code (e.g. “EvilSWAT.711”) at the official SC2SEA.com registration thread. Alternatively, you can do a walk-in registration at the event venue up until 11am. Only the first 64 players who register will be able to participate, so we recommend you sign-up online.

Remember, registration is free, and while full gaming equipment will be provided, you’re advised to bring your own keyboard, mice and headset. For more information or to signup, head over to their official thread here. Registration is open now!
