MBC Game records its last show, will close at the end of the month

MBC Game, the Korean cable television company which brought us the fabled MBC Game Starleague StarCraft: Brood War tournament series (better known as MSL), recorded its last show yesterday, a farewell segment titled “Adieu, MBCGame“.

Casters Kim Chul Min and Seo “Shark” Gyung Jon, along with host Kang Hyunjong gathered to share the channel’s history and legacy, and reflect on the many years they spent together on the decade old cable channel. This TeamLiquid forum thread posted by user Kiett contains more details, translated Twitter posts from the Korean personalities and links to interviews about the MBC Game closure.

MBC Game is scheduled to be discontinued on 31 January and will be replaced by a music channel, MBC Music.
