The FIFA community in Singapore have gotten organised and are running online leagues for the PC and PlayStation 3 versions of FIFA 12, while an offline tournament is being planned for later this month.
Currently, a total of 29 players are participating in the eight-week-long PS3 FIFA 12 league. The separate online league for PC players will only begin in a week on 18 February, with registration currently open until 15 February.
There are also plans for an offline tournament to be held on 26 February, with cash and product prizes to be given out.
The community-initiated events are organised jointly by Flash e-Sport’s Wen Jun “hibidi” Chiang, AEON’s Joseph “Zarate” Yeo and Kamil Kamisan, who is affiliated with the Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association.
