Blizzard’s worldwide StarCraft II tournament, the World Championship Series, will be coming to Singapore at the end of July, with a US$10,000 (S$13,000) prize pool.
The StarCraft II World Championship Series Singapore Nationals will be held at the Funan Digitalife Mall atrium on 28 and 29 July.
Up to 64 players will be fighting for a share of the US$10,000 prize pool, which will be divided among the top 16:
- 1st: US$4,000 and sponsored trip to Asia Continental Finals in China
- 2nd: US$2,000
- 3rd: US$900
- 4th: US$500
- 5th-8th: US$300
- 9th to 16th: US$200
The tournament will also be broadcast live through ESL SEA’s Twitch.TV channel.
Registration is free, with the tournament’s organiser ESL to release details at a future date.
