Are you playing fighting games? Have you watched videos of fighting game matches, such as the recently concluded Street Figher IV World Tournament, and wonder if there’s any action to be had in Singapore? The answer is yes! The fighting games community, like so many others in Singapore, is underground but alive and kicking, and I’ll introduce you to some websites you should know about.
Soul Singapore
These guys are dedicated to the cause of Soulcalibur in Singapore and did a SC4 competition last year that was well attended by the local SC community. They’re doing another one again on 20 June according to this blog post, so do check them out if you’re interested!

Street Fighter IV Singapore
I chanced upon SF4 Singapore when I happened to read Euniqueflair’s blog. Looks like Tien Lang, the person behind it, has already been doing a number of tournaments for SF4. There’s one coming up on Labour Day, 1 May, at TKA Virtualand/Star Factory Plaza Singapura, so check it out at the SF4 Singapore blog!

Round 1! Fighting Games Community
A few people in the Singapore fighting games community have finally come together to create a forum where fighting games enthusiastics can totally nerd out (in a good way) over strategies and scene happenings. It’s still new and fledging, so if you even have a little interest in fighting games, I would suggest you go there now to make yourself counted. Guilty Gear, King of Fighters, SF4 and SC are all represented, so it’s highly likely you’ll be able to meet like-minded people.
