Third L4D2 campaign renamed to “Dark Carnival”

The third Left 4 Dead 2 campaign, previously revealed on an episode of GameTrailers TV, has been renamed from “The Fairgrounds” to “Dark Carnival”.

Valve has also released the first screenshot of Dark Carnival (see the lead photo of this article), and announced that Left 4 Dead 2 will be be showcased at next Saturday’s (Singapore time) Penny Arcade Expo 2009 (PAX). Various sections of Dark Carnival will be playable to the public, and more of L4D2’s weapons and items will also be revealed.

With the arrival of the Crash Course DLC almost imminent, and Left 4 Dead 2’s November 17 release fast approaching, you can expect an onslaught of more L4D-related news in the coming weeks.
