WCG.SG reaches into the heartlands

[b]SINGAPORE[/b] – The World Cyber Games 2007 Singapore Championship will be bringing a series of video gaming tournaments to the heartlands with the People’s Association Youth Movement (PAYM) League come mid-June.

The PAYM League will see WCG.SG tournaments taking place in five Community Clubs starting from mid-June, and lasting until mid-July. The five CCs are:[list]

[*][b]30 June – 1 July:[/b] Yew Tee CC
[*][b]7 – 8 July:[/b] Ulu Pandan CC
[*][b]21 – 22 July:[/b] Sengkang CC[/list]

[*][b]Dead or Alive 4[/b] (Xbox 360)
[*][b]Guitar Hero II[/b] (Xbox 360)
[*][b]Project Gotham Racing 3[/b] (Xbox 360)
[*][b]Winning Eleven X[/b] (Xbox 360)[/list]
The winners of the DotA tournament will walk away with a S$1,000 in prize money and be seeded into the WCG Singapore National Finals. The runners-up will receive S$750 while the second runners-up will receive $500.

For the Xbox 360 games, the top placed player will receive S$200, while the second and third placed will receive $150 and $100 respectively.
