SINGAPORE – There was little team > could do to delay WeLoveToConcede’s inexorable march to victory and the top spot at the World Cyber Games 2007 Singapore Championship Temasek Polytechnic Campus Preliminary Thursday.

Team > drafted Bristleback, Keeper of the Light, Omniknight, Shadow Fiend and Queen of Pain on Sentinel while WeLoveToConcede drafted Earthshaker, Rogue Knight (Sven), Shadow Shaman (Rhasta), Warlock and Zeus on Scourge.

WeLoveToConcede dominated from the very beginning of the game. Sven got an early first blood at 3 minutes, coming from mid through river to kill KotL in the top lane.

By the half hour mark, WeLoveToConcede was far in the lead with 26 hero and 4 tower kills compared to team >’s 5 hero and 1 tower kills. Team >’s middle lane towers were completely destroyed at this point.

Team > did not have everything going against them however. Their Omniknight played a crucial supporting role, healing team mates at just the right moments, preventing a number of near certain deaths.

WeLoveToConcede took out team >’s remaining top and bottom lane towers with concerted 5 hero pushes, coming out of most major engagements relatively unscathed while still taking down 3 to 5 of team >’s heroes each time.

By this time, it was almost impossible for team > to turn the tides, and the outcome was obvious. Team > put up a last stand at the middle lane base entrance to turn back WeLoveToConcede’s push attempt.

At first, it looked as if things were going badly for WeLoveToConcede, but somehow they managed to turn the tables and came out on top, clearing team >, although WeLoveToConcede’s heroes were left with very low health.

Team > saw that this was the end, and GGs were exchanged. The Sentinel’s World Tree went down at 47 minutes and 16 seconds.

WeLoveToConcede’s win over team > nets each member a Samsung U1 MP3 Player each, plus a seeding into the WCG 2007 Singapore National Finals.
