WCG.SG 07: Weekend of the solo games

[b]SINGAPORE[/b] – After being largely left in the lurch since the start of the World Cyber Games 2007 Singapore Championship, it was finally time for the solo games to shine at the Home Team NS League, and the participants certainly did not disappoint.

echo_elite, Neon and No-Corpse all booked a placed for themselves into the WCG.SG 07 National Finals as they emerged tops in Command & Conquer 3, Need For Speed: Carbon and Warcraft III respectively.

echo_elite defeated arch-rival Ravana from X3M in a Command & Conquer 3 final yet again to emerge as the champion. Previously, echo_elite also defeated Ravana at the TNP Cyber Challenge. PAYM League veteran Ayane06 came in third.

In Need for Speed: Carbon, Neon crossed the chequered flag first, while best_lame and Hafidz came in second and third respectively.

For Warcraft III, No-Corpse emerged as the champion, with RageFaction’s girlyluck and X3M’s darkstrike placing second and third respectively.

Ayane06 also made an appearance in the Guitar Hero II challenge, but was bested by onebitwonder in the finals. Horitoz took the third placing.
