SINGAPORE – This weekend, we head into the final leg of the Warcraft III preliminaries for the World Cyber Games 2007 Singapore Championship, the nEbO League, where Singapore’s top players have emerged to duke it out for the fourth and final seed into the top 16 berths.

The draw for tomorrow’s matches have already been made with the top brackets looking much harder than bottom brackets. Fsk3.gosubay is regarded as the favourite to emerge victorious in the top bracket. Nothing is certain however. ReTraineD, Nickt and Pinkly will probably give gosubay a run for his money.

While ReTraineD, champion of the Winter Season of the Compaq AMD Pro-Gaming League 2006/07 Elite Category, hasn’t been seen practicing much recently, he could still be a threat.

On the other hand, Nickt has been active on GGClient practicing on a regular basis. Notably, he has been seen practicing against the Night Elf race, possibly in preparation for a showdown with his nemesis, gosubay, a Night Elf user.

pinkly, VeLLo and vLae should also be watched closely, as they might just spring an upset on the favourites.

In the bottom bracket, an unfortunate draw sees RageFaction clan mates girlyluck, Oxygen (playing under the pseudonym =)) and Kpg^KaneNiTES battle it out.

Another notable mention would be Axg-Riskin, a new face in the scene. His recent performance in GXL 07 Season 01 where he was able to command a top 10 placing proves that he is someone worth putting your money on.

The previous three seeds into top 16 berths were awarded to No-Corpse, also known as Renom in the Games Xtreme League, at the Home Team NS League two weeks ago, Rehsa (better known as Tagan), for being the local player that garnered the highest points in the recent GXL 2007 Season 01, and TruE, for winning last year’s WCG Singapore.

For those who are not able to come down to Downtown East over the weekend to witness the games, stay tuned as GameSync will be providing the results on our website as soon as we receive them.
