SINGAPORE – Micronology triumphed over Zenith in the DotA Allstars finals of the World Cyber Games 2007 Singapore National Finals.

Micronology won in a convicing and decisive manner. Towards the end of the game, it was clear that Micronology knew that they had the game in hand, with team leader hyhy seen triumphantly thrusting his arms into the air with every successful push into Zenith’s base. (Full report)

Despite their best efforts, Zenith continued their unforunate relationship with the WCG. Although being the team with the best track record over the last 3 years in Singapore, they have never managed to bring home Singapore’s top DotA honour – the WCG Singapore National Finals champion trophy.

The showdown between the two titans of the Singapore DotA scene will likely be the biggest DotA match of 2007, spectated by a record crowd numbering in the hundreds.

Micronology will go on to represent Singapore in the WCG Asian Championship, to be held over Saturday and Sunday. Over 10 countries from the region will be taking part, including DotA powerhouses Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
