World GameMaster Tournament
UPDATE: Bad news for CS and WC3 fans and gamers, both games are not included as official games for WGT.SG 07.
The World GameMaster Tournament 2007 represents one of the last standalone events for the competitive Counter-Strike 1.6 and Warcraft III communities.
In addition to e-sports staples Counter-Strike 1.6 and Warcraft III, Quake 4 joins the official game lineup for this year’s edition of WGT. It remains to be seen if DotA Allstars or Command & Conquer 3, two of the more popular games in Singapore at the moment, will be included as unofficial games.
While the date for WGT.SG has not been finalized, inside sources have indicated a November to December time frame for the competition.
