SINGAPORE – FIFA 2007 has been dropped from the game line up of the 2007 World Gamemaster Tournament Singapore, with just 4 days to go to the opening of the competition.

According to Rapture Gaming, the manager of the event, the decision to drop FIFA was due to time constraints. Spokesperson Mr Jason Tan said that the change would allow WGT.SG to push sign ups for Command & Conquer 3 and DotA Allstars, and also allow players to have more time to play their matches.

Mr Tan denied rumours that WGT.SG was forced to drop FIFA 2007 due to licensing issues with Electronic Arts, and pointed out that Command & Conquer 3, also distributed and licensed by EA, was still part of the tournament.
