The Championship Gaming Series and Mr Chris Soh have “mutually agreed” that he will be removed as acting General Manager of the CGS Singapore franchise effective immediately, according to a CGS news release.
Mr Steven Yong will act as the interim GM of the Singapore team until a permanent replacement is announced. He will be responsible for making the final draft selections for the Singapore team.
In posts on the CGS forums, Mr Soh denied any wrongdoings. He wrote: “I’m confident that the air will clear itself and that the fact (sic) will prevail.”
Mr Soh also avoided answering a question posed to him by Dead or Alive 4 player “flyjcfly” on why Cindy was choosen instead of Lavelynne despite the latter defeating Cindy by 10-2.
