ESWC Malaysia 2008 results

There were no surprises at the 2008 Malaysian Electronic Sports World Cup National Finals as established names and teams took the top spot in all four game titles played.

Malaysian esports veterans dominated the tournament, with Counter-Strike team Hybrid, DotA Allstars team Kingsurf, Warcraft III player Yan "Paulyan" Meng-Choon and racing sim player Tang "Luige" Chee-Keong all took first place in their respective games.

The winners took home more than RM100,000 (S$41,800) and have been given a berth in the ESWC Grand Finals, to be held in San Jose, USA on 25 to 27 August 2008.
