This news is almost a week old, but for those of you who don’t know yet, the arcade version of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II has arrived in Arcadia, Bugis Iluma Level 5.
Update (June 12): I previously wrote that the machines were configured to 3-out-of-5 rounds. This is incorrect, it is actually 2-out-of-3 rounds.
Original: There are two pairs of CS2 machines provided, with the game costing SG$0.50 per credit. Matches are configured to 3-out-of-5 rounds.
The CS2 arcade edition features both of CS1’s console-exclusive characters, Makoto Nanaya and Valkenhayn R. Hellsing. Also joining them is Platinum the Trinity, a new character in CS2.
Unlike in Japanese arcades, the Arcadia machines do not have the NESiCA x Live card system installed, therefore gamers are unable to save their player rankings and game data.
