Made in Singapore — Watch Suntec City get destroyed in this MechWarrior: Tactical Command teaser

MechWarrior: Tactical Command is an upcoming tactical-strategy game for the iOS, developed by Singapore-based Personae Studios. If you haven’t seen the teaser trailer yet for this game, check it out in the embedded header above… and laugh your heart out.

That’s because the video shows two Mechs, the Timber Wolf (the one with the shoulder-mounted missile-pods) and Atlas, slugging it out in a battle-ravaged Suntec City. How do you know it’s Suntec City? Any Singaporean should easily recognise the Fountain of Wealth in the video, Suntec City’s iconic landmark, which gets smashed to smithereens by the Mechs.

Never heard of Personae Studios before? They’re a small indie developer focused on creating iOS games. Some of their mobile games include Air Hockey and Carrom (both games which most iPhone users should have played before).

If you’re interested to find out more, be sure to check out their official website for their full company profile and gameography.

MechWarrior: Tactical Command will be released on the iTunes Store later in 2012. View the official press release here.
