Great news for JRPG and J-pop fans. EOY (Events of the Year) has announced that Sayuri Sugawara, best known for singing the Final Fantasy XIII theme song, “Kimi ga Iru Kara” (“Because You’re Here”), will be performing at the upcoming EOY 2012 J-Pop Live! event at the Esplanade Concert Hall on 11 December. I had the opportunity to try out Borderlands split-screen co-op together with fellow GameSync contributor DEATHANGELX at XGS09. After the intro, we are presented with our protagonists; Brick, Lilith, Mordecai and Roland. Each character represents a different class and each has its own unique weapons and abilities. It feels a little like a single player version of TF2 set on a dystopian planet.
Read more »Football Manager 2009 is the latest incarnation of Sports Interactive and SEGA’s hit football management simulator, which had its roots in the now Eidos-owned Championship Manager series. In 2004, developers Sports Interactive split from publishers Eidos Interactive. While SI retained the rights to the database and source code, Eidos kept the Championship Manager name. This eventually led to SI teaming up with SEGA to publish SI's "footy" managerial simulators under the Football Manager name.
