There is a fine line between an arcade scrub and a complete idiot.

By now, most of you readers would have figured out that I am some sort of arcade fanatic and a huge King of Fighters fanboy. You guys would also have realised that I have absolutely no sympathy for idiots with no brains.

Be afraid, be very afraid, because the same idiots have somehow infiltrated our local arcades.

VCO's long-in-production team frag video has finally been released. It features footage from their scrims with various teams around Asia and some very bold editing and cuts. You can view it embedded here, on YouTube or download from HD gaming video website PLDX.

Only those aged 18 and above will be allowed to purchase Left 4 Dead 2 in Singapore, in accordance with a ruling from the Media Authority Development of Singapore that rates Valve's upcoming horror first-person shooter as "Mature 18".

The Left 4 Dead 2 demo has been announced by Valve at an Electronic Arts press conference in Japan. The demo is due to be released on Steam on 28 October (Singapore time), just before Halloween.

Now, before you L4D peeps start making plans for your Halloween L4D cosplay, Shacknews has confirmed that the release of the L4D2 demo on 28 October will be exclusive to pre-order customers only.

Update: Continuum Shift will be out in Japanese arcades this December.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger will be getting an expansion called BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, according to the newest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. Continuum Shift will feature at least one new character (Tsubaki Yayoi), new stages, new moves and rebalanced controls, and an improved HUD.

If you downloaded drivers for your Razer products from the Razer official support website last weekend, you might have inadvertantly gotten your computer infected by a hard to detect malware.

Dave "insi9nia" Yan from Singaporean Left 4 Dead team Avant Garde released his second frag video late last night. Titled L4D: Reloaded, the frag video contains "mostly pub scrims and inhouse games with friends" according to the video description. Tight editing and good backing tracks make this a joy to watch. The guys at BlazBlue Singapore are organizing another BlazBlue arcade tournament, this time at Bugis Virtualand on 26 September, 2pm.

DotA's Lich and Necrolyte has finally found their way into Heroes of Newerth after the latest patch released a few days ago, they're named Plauge Rider and Soul Reaper respectively. This patch also include two hero reworks to both Scout and Kraken. The Scout's "Vanish" is now a toggle skill which would trigger a cool-down counter on attack or toggle, "Improved Dextrity" has been removed and replaced by "Disarm", which grants a chance of disarming a target for 3 seconds.
