The first thing that strikes you as you walking into Suntec Convention Hall 404, the venue of this year's Games Convention Asia, is that the place is small. Really small. But don't let that deceive you. Instead of an endless parade of casual games as in previous years, this year's GCA has plenty of core games on display.

A preview video of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has been posted on YouTube, which you can view embedded above.

Judging by the big "Warning: this video is confidential - internal use only" disclaimer, this is probably a leaked video that Polish developers CD Projekt did not intend to release to the public.

The video clearly states that the game is still in the Alpha stages, so don't expect The Witcher 2 to be out any time soon.

The official Singapore launch of the PS3 Slim will be on 1 October, according to a Twitter message posted by the folks at GameAxis. The Slim will retail for SG$512, and comes with a one-year warranty provided by Sony Singapore.

mTx.wH won the Western Digital Operation: Blackstorm Left 4 Dead tournament held at E2Max Cineleisure after defeating Trying To Survive 7,249-3,170 in the finals.

Two members of the Steam L4D2 boycott group, Walking_Target and Agent of Chaos, were recently invited down to Valve's offices to get some hands-on experience with Left 4 Dead 2.
