GameWorks DotA tourney postponed to mid August
GameWorks's first DotA Allstars live tournament has been postponed by three weeks to the middle of August to allow more teams to register.

TKA K.O. Episode 1 results
TKA's Knockout Episode 1 Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6 tournament ended almost two weeks ago at The Games Xpo with a victory for Korea's Poongko in the Korea-Japan-Singapore exhibition tournament, and Japan's Itabashi in the main SF4 tournament. GameSync TF2 server down for maintenance
The GameSync Team Fortress 2 server is down for maintenance until further notice. There was a problem where players were forced to use certain weapons by default, making weapon loadout changes impossible and breaking pug and scrim play.
We're getting our server sponsor, sgWarGames, to do a clean install of the server and thereafter we'll start to restore the server back to its previous state. We don't have a firm date and time where the server will be available again, but we hope that it'll be up before Sunday.

Left 4 Dead update adds lobby browser
A new Left 4 Dead update was released this morning (Singapore time). The patch adds a "lobby browser" to the game under the "Play Online" menu item.

An update for Team Fortress 2 that includes fixes for several bugs and exploits was released through Steam this morning (Singapore time).
Read more »BioShock 2 delayed to first half of 2010
Publisher Take-Two Interactive has announced that BioShock 2 won't be released in the fourth-quarter of 2009 as previously planned. According to a Shacknews interview with Take-Two CEO Ben Feder, the game has now been pushed to the "first half of calendar 2010".

A new MechWarrior game is being developed by Piranha Games for the PC and Xbox 360, according to an IGN interview with the co-creator of FASA's BattleTech universe, Jordan Weisman.
