SINGAPORE – Gamers in Singapore and Malaysia will get to play Ragnarok Online 2 sometime in the first three months of 2008. This is the result of an agreement signed between Asiasoft and Gravity at the Games Convention Asia this morning.
“Besides being 3D, RO2 has recreated a world that is a fusion between retro, futuristic and fantasy elements,” said Mr Kim Changki, General Manager of Gravity.
Other game features Mr Kim revealed included high levels of character customizations beyond that of the original game and the addition of a new class every two years.
Gamers will get to try out these new features at GGA, where there will be a playable demo at the Asiasoft Booth.
As a bonus to fans, Mr Myung-Jin Lee, the original author of Ragnarok Online, will be on hand this Saturday for a autograph signing session.
RO2 is the sequel to hit MMORPG Ragnarok Online, which has been played by over 30 million people from 80 countries.
