KODE5 Global Final groups seeded

Singaporean participants of the KODE5 Global Finals found themselves in favourable groupings after the groups were drawn early yesterday morning Singapore time.

Counter-Strike 1.6 team xqR.AG found themselves seeded into Group C, along with heavyweights Gravitas, MeetYourMakers and mTw. Although xqR.AG managed to defeat Korean team Lunatic-hai at last year’s KODE5 Southeast Asia Qualifiers, the standard of play is expected to be much higher at the Global Finals. There will be tough times ahead for xqR.AG.

Meanwhile, Warcraft III player girlyluck was seeded into Group B. Despite the presence of Grubby in the same group, GameSync understands that girlyluck finds the draw to be favourable overall, as he prefers not to play against Undead users. Everyone else in Group B are Night Elf and Orc users.
