With the World Cyber Games 2009 Grand Final group draws for Counter-Strike 1.6, Asphalt 4 and Wise Star 2 concluded, GameSync takes a look at where our Singaporean representatives have been placed.
Singapore CS1.6 representative 
GameSENSE has been seeded into Group A. They will be facing 
4glory from Serbia, 
Millenium from France and 
Parallax from New Zealand.
This will be GameSENSE‘s first foray into the international CS1.6 circuit. There’s no telling how well they will do, but the team did beat TitaNs eSports in the semi-finals of the WCG Singapore Finals and Group A is a relatively favourable draw.
If GameSENSE manages to hold their nerves together, and with a bit of luck, they might be able to finish top two in the group and proceed to the single elimination playoffs.
Singapore’s Gold Medalist in last year’s WCG, Jared Beins, has been seeded into Group B for Asphalt 4, while Kelvin “Ayane06” Ten has been seeded into Group A for Wise Star 2.
The group draws for FIFA 09, Guitar Hero and Virtua Fighter 5 will take place later today while the draws for Carom 3D, Trackmania, StarCraft and WarCraft III will take place tomorrow.
