Razer announced yesterday a refresh of its Razer Goliathus mouse mats, with the key new feature being a dense, anti-fray stitched frame for increased durability.
The new anti-fray stitching should help slow down the wear-and-tear on the surface and edges of the cloth-based mouse mat, especially the parts which are in constant contact with your wrists or arms.
Just like before, the new Goliathus mouse mats comes in two varieties: the Control Edition, for increased tracking and precision; and the Speed Edition, for faster gliding.
The Razer Goliathus also comes in four sizes. From smallest to largest, along with details of the suggested street prices for Singapore, they are:
- Omega: S$19.90 (27 cm x 21.5 cm)
- Standard: S$25.90 (35.5 cm x 25.4 cm)
- Alpha: S$32.90 (44.4 cm x 35.5 cm)
- Extended: S$49.90 (92 cm x 29.4 cm)
According to Razer, the mouse mats are currently available online at the Razer store and have already been shipped to retailers. Expect to see it in stores by the end of the month.
