Singapore BlazBlue fans, rejoice. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II will be coming to the Arcadia arcade at Bugis, Iluma, in “about 1-2 months time”.
The news was announced on the Rebel2SG (Singapore’s premier BlazBlue community) Facebook page, by community leader Royston “Pablo” Sim, who in turn received the information from a source working in Arcadia.
Produced by Arc System Works, CS2 is an updated version of the original BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. CS2 was originally released on 9 December, 2010 in Japanese arcades. A portable version of the game was released on PSP and 3DS this March in Japan.
Although CS2 is the first arcade game to use the NESiCA x Live networked card-system which allows players to save their profiles and game data, it is unclear whether the Singapore arcade release will include the card system.
The Japanese PS3 and 360 console versions of the CS1 will be receiving a free downloadable patch to update the game to the CS2 version in May; a release date has not yet been confirmed for the rest of the world.
