StarHub: Game servers won’t be back this week

A StarHub spokesperson has clarified that the telco’s game servers will not be making a return this week.

StarHub was responding to an NGNT report which suggested that the StarHub game servers may be back by the end of this week.

The spokesperson said: “It won’t be this week. We do have a target date for the new game service which we hope to make an announcement soon.”

The StarHub game servers – which include Counter-Strike 1.6, Killing Floor, Team Fortress 2 and Mumble voice communication servers – went offline on 19 May, almost one week ago.

NGNT has sent a query to StarHub on when the announcement, if any, will be made.
