There will be Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition tournaments held on both days of the Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2011 at the Suntec Convention Centre this weekend.
For MvC3, there will be themed mini-tournaments (Avengers only, Marvel characters only, and so on), a king-of-the-hill challenge and a two 32-player tournaments, with a Nintendo 3DS and a Madcatz Tournament Edition arcade stick signed by fighting games community celebrities up for grabs.
For SSF4AE, there will be a 5-on-5 tournament held on Saturday, and a 2-on-2 tournament held on Sunday, with similar prizes to be won.
There are no entry fees for the tournaments, but you do have to pay the cover charge to enter STGCC:
- $10 for a one-day pass
- $18 for a two-day pass
