IAHGames, together with the Singapore Red Cross Society, will be holding its second blood donation drive dubbed as The Red Affair 2: Blood Race event next month. The twist this time round? It will be a competition between the Granado Espada, Dragonica and FIFA Online 2 communities to out do each other, with exclusive in-game benefits to be won.
The donation drive-competition will be held on Saturday, 12th December between 11am to 5pm at the Red Dot Traffic Museum (directions).
Each gamer-donor will select one of the three online games to represent and will donate blood under its
banner. The online game with the highest total blood units donated at the end of the event will be crowned the winner, earning a prize ranging from unreleased in-game items to special in-game events.
All participants, even those deemed ineligible to donate, will receive two 10% discount vouchers from ice cream and milkshake parlour Once Upon a Milkeshake and game premiums such as game DVDs and in-game items.
“We have added a competitive element to the blood donation drive to make charity fun and meaningful. At IAHGames, contributing back to the community is something that we as a company are passionate about,” said Roland Ong, CEO of IAHGames.
IAHGames’s last blood donation drive, held earlier this year in January, drew in 107 blood donors over a two-day period.
