Previously, GameSync reported that in order to take part in the StarCraft II beta that is launching at the end of the month, you needed to indicate your interest for opting into the beta last year.
This is incorrect. According to StarCraft IncGamers, you can still opt yourself into the beta today, and receive an equal chance of being accepted into the beta as everyone else.
Blizzard community manager Xordiah, had this to say about the beta opt-in:
It doesn’t matter at what point you opted in. Those dates will not be considered when the names are taken out of the pool of people that opted in. So someone opting in today will have the same chance of getting into the beta.
So what are you waiting for? If you still haven’t signed up for a Blizzard Store account, now is the time to register and opt yourself into the SCII beta.
