New DotA team rises from the ashes of dN and xqR

[b]SINGAPORE[/b] – The emergence of a new DotA Allstars team has left dN* disbanded and xqR.DotA’s fate hanging in the balance.

nOva, the new 6-man team, is made up of former dN* members Daren “dar3n” Sim, Mervyn “kuku” Yong and Seah “ruby” Yongkiang and former xqR.DotA players Alan “alan” Ter, Joey “martellx” Chua and Ng “ray” Kok Chiong.

alan, martellx and ray’s departure from xqR revealed the reason why xqR chose to forfeit at the PAYM League Sengkang Community Club Finals; If they won the seed, they would be barred from joining up with dar3n, kuku and ruby for the World Cyber Games 2007 Singapore National Finals.

xqR.DotA’s team leader Wilson “d4rkw1sH” Tang remains as the only player left under the [url=http://www.teamxqr.com/?page=team]xqR banner[/url] with the departure of the three players. d4rkw1sh strongly denied that this would be the end of xqR.DotA, but was evasive when asked about the team’s future plans.

dN* team leader Weng “Hengky-” Ming Heng said that internal conflicts and quarrels led to dN* being disbanded. “Some of them were thinking to join other teams, so just disband. Solves all things,” said Hengky-.

Although Hengky- felt that it was a waste to disband, he still hoped that his former team mates would be able to find a better team.

nOva’s first appearance will be at this Saturday’s Compaq AMD Pro-Gaming League 2007/08 Summer Season Elite Category.

They will also participate in the upcoming WCG 2007 Singapore National Finals with the seed dN* earned [url=http://www.gamesync.net/2007/07/02/news/team-dn-claim-top-spot-at-yew-tee-cc]earlier[/url] in the PAYM League Yew Tee Community Club tournament.
