[b]SINGAPORE[/b] – Gamers Inc`Alpha raised brows at the World Cyber Games 2007 Singapore National Finals yesterday after rechristening themselves Gaming Giants`Alpha.
Apparently, Gaming Giants`Alpha dropped their previous sponsor Gamers Inc. cybercafe sometime between being seeded at the Toa Payoh Community Club PAYM League preliminary and the National Finals playoffs.
Their new sponsor, Gaming Giants cybercafe, seemed to have brought AMD’s backing as well. The AMD logo was seen emblazoned on the backs of their team jackets.
The move came as a surprise as it happened in the middle of a tournament. The reason for Gaming Giant`Alpha’s decision to switch sponsors is unknown at this time.
