The dates for this year’s Evolution Championship Series fighting games tournament Singapore stop will be held on 9 and 10 June, according to a Facebook note written by SGFighter.
The note — which was posted in the Tough Cookie Parklane Gaming Cafe Facebook group — seems to suggest that the Singapore Evo 2012 tournament stop will be held at the newly opened gaming cafe. However, when queried, SGFighter was quick to clarify that the organisers “are trying to finalize the details of the location for EVO”.
SGFighter also added that the June Singapore Evo 2012 tournament is actually part of the Evo 2012 tournament season and is not a qualifier. There is no need to qualify for Evo, since anyone from any country is able to join the Evo 2012 Grand Finals which will be held at Caesers Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from 6 to 8 July.
The Evo Singapore tour stop will be jointly organised by SGFighter and Cross Counter Asia.
