Football Manager 2009 is the latest incarnation of Sports Interactive and SEGA’s hit football management simulator, which had its roots in the now Eidos-owned Championship Manager series. In 2004, developers Sports Interactive split from publishers Eidos Interactive. While SI retained the rights to the database and source code, Eidos kept the Championship Manager name. This eventually led to SI teaming up with SEGA to publish SI's "footy" managerial simulators under the Football Manager name.
Read more »By now, you would have surely heard of Sony's new PlayStation 3 Slim. Announced earlier this week at the Gamescon convention in Colonge, Germany, the PS3 Slim sports a 120GB hard drive, and will retail for US$299. The Slim is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 1.
Existing 'Fat' versions of the PS3 will undergo a price cut, with the 80GB version dropping to US$299 (was previously US$399), and the 160GB version at US$399 (was previously US$499).

The two-week-old news of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty's delay has all but vanished from the minds of everyone, as Blizzard continues to bombard the gaming press with new information about their highly anticipated sequel.

On the bright side, this will be the first time that you'll be able to try out the new Wii MotionPlus controller since it was announced at E3.

The GameSync TF2 server has been updated with the latest Classless Update, new PUG/scrim configs and maps.

The latest Team Fortress 2 content patch, the Classless Update, was released this morning (Singapore time) through Steam. Besides the usual slew of new maps and a new game mode, the update rebalances the Scout unlocks and fixes a number of gameplay issues.
