[b]The Burning Crusade, the highly antipicated expansion pack for Blizzard’s popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft, was launched today to a enormous crowd at Suntec City Mall.[/b]

Hundreds of gamers queued up at the Suntec City Mall Entertainment Atrium to collect their copy of the Burning Crusade. By noon, an hour before the official launch, the queue had snaked all the way outside the building and into the hot afternoon sun. Reportedly, the first peron in the queue started queueing from 10pm the previous night.
Never before had so many players of the World of Warcraft MMORPG across both Alliance and Horde and all realms congregated in a single spot, and it was a great opportunity for everyone to meet the people they had played hours upon hours with in the virtual world.
World of Warcraft mercandise were also given out as prizes for mini-games such as Illidan’s Roulette of Destiny and Onyxia Bingo. Many walked away with a set of the World of Warcraft board game or the trading card game.
