TitaNs CS eliminated from ESWC Cheonan by SK

Singapore-based Counter-Strike 1.6 team TitaNs qualified for the playoff stage of the Electronic Sports World Cup Asia Masters of Cheonan, as GameSync predicted earlier, but was eliminated by Swedish team SK Gaming in the quarter-finals.

TitaNs managed a respectable performance against SK Gaming on de_inferno, even leading the Swedes 11-4 at the close of TitaN’s first half on the Counter-Terrorist side. SK Gaming then showed their mettle and managed to make a stunning comeback, scoring 12 straight rounds against TitaNs to take the game, showing why they are one of the best CS teams in the world.

We’re not sure what happened on de_nuke, but TitaNs crashed 16-2 against SK Gaming. Perhaps their spirits were broken after the huge comeback by SK Gaming on de_inferno.

Scandinavian CS teams are always very strong. Especially the Swedes.

Yeah. The top European teams are a notch above any of the Asian teams to be honest. That TitaNs managed to take 11 rounds against SK Gaming should be worthy of praise.
