Registration for the Dota 2 beta has begun at the official Dota 2 website. All you need is a Steam account to sign yourself up to the beta candidate list. There are no details on when the beta will open.
Gamers will be able to get their first look at Dota 2 later today during the International Dota 2 Championships, held at the Gamescom trade exhibition in Cologne, Germany. The first game of the tournament starts at 4pm Singapore time and will be broadcast on the tournament website.
