There will be a Soulcalibur V tournament in Singapore confirmed for early March with a massive prize pool, according to a Facebook post made by Soul Singapore, a Singapore-based Soulcalibur community organisation.
While the Soul Singapore Facebook post appears to state joking that the prizes will be worth “OVER NINE THOUSSSAAANNNNDDDDD” dollars, a trusted community source has confirmed with No Game No Talk that the final prize pool will in fact be S$10,000.
No further details of the tournament were released.
Soulcalibur V, the sixth installment in the sword-combat-based 3D fighting games series, will be launched at the end of the month in Singapore.
